Advocacy Associates of the Hudson Valley, LLC is a special education advocacy services business whose goal is to assist you in helping your child get the education and services that they need. Our goal is to have parents learn how to become better advocates.
 We offer a variety of services tailored to fit whatever your needs are, to assist your child.

Some of Our Services

  • Complete Analysis of your Child’s current records and data analysis of evaluation results for more focused outcomes
  • Letter writing review
  • Drafting of correspondence to school district
  • Attendance at team meetings
  • Attendance at Early Intervention, Committee on Preschool Education and Committee on Special Education meetings (EI, CPSE or CSE)
  • Support prior to and during annual and triennial reviews
  • Support during transition from EI to CPSE, CPSE to CSE and CSE to post-secondary education or adult services.

The Process

Complete the intake form online and we will contact you to set up your free initial one hour in person or telephone consultation.

Bring your child's current IEP or 504 plan, most recent evaluations, progress report, and report card to the initial consultation.

After the initial consultation, we will review all documents provided and will schedule a follow up meeting to discuss results of our review and our recommendations.

At the follow up meeting, we will provide you with a one-page summary report of our document review which will include our findings and recommendations as well as a customized educational records binder.
